Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Ltd. (UPSBC Ltd.) was set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1973 with a paid-up capital of Rs. 5 million . Now, its paid-up capital has grown to Rs. 150 million. In the process, UPSBC Ltd. Has achieved the twin objectives of eliminating the contractual system and raising institutional finance. It has built a large number of b ridges in the state, required for the ever-growing network of roads. Under the massive development progamme after independence, UPSB C has successfully discharged its role and, in the process, has achieved unparallel expertise and experience in the field of bridges construction. The corporate headquarters of UPSBC Ltd. Are situated at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, India. Operating from the premises are the Design, Planning and Monitoring Quality and Cost Control, Finance and Personnel wings. Out in the field, the work is controlled through zonal offices located at Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bareilly, Faizabad, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad and Jhansi. UPSBC Ltd. Is one of the rare one-stop agencies dealing with every specialized aspect of bridges, hydraulic and other structures.
