    The turnover has gone up from Rs. 40 million in 1973 to more than Rs. 15000 million now. UPSBC Ltd., which has constructed over 2500 bridges and is still engaged in the construction of more bridges, aquaducts, pump houses, stadiums, besides river, road and rail over-bridges. It has worked in other States including Bihar, Orissa, Maharastra, Gujrat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Delhi. It has also completed many bridges in Iraq, Nepal and Yemen. these works were awarded to the Corportation on global tender basis.
    UPSBC Ltd. completed the first BOT project over river sone in Chopan, Distt. Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, before time, and has been successfully collecting the toll tax. The funds required for the project were arranged by availing 100% loans.
    UPSBC Ltd. has been, in profit for past many years and contributing by paying dividend to the State Government. It has an impressive array of heavy earth moving machines and construction equipment to undertake any type of construction work. The cost of such machines is approx Rs. 1200 million.
